Sauerkraut Workshop: August 19
Big news! Iʻm starting a monthly workshop series here on Oʻahu to share hands-on fermentation skills and geek out about microbes!
The first workshop will be held August 19th - all about Sauerkraut.
In this hands-on workshop we will:
- Explore the basics of lactic acid fermentation,
- Discuss microbes, the microbiome, and gut health,
- Practice the dry salt lacto-fermentation method by making sauerkraut together.
Participants will go home with their own jar of sauerkraut, plus the skills to do it at home!
